Hey guys!
You all know about my love for Pakistani fashion, be it a simple white Kurta or a blinged out Anarkali. One of the most common questions I get is where I usually order my outfits from. I have been lucky enough to visit Pakistan regularly so I usually do my shopping there. Today, I’ll share a list of brands that I have shopped from online and had them deliver to Canada as well as some stores in the Greater Toronto Area.
ONLINE SHOPPING:
These are some of the brands I use the most, whether I am in Pakistan or ordering online:
Ethnic by Outfitters: Incase you haven’t noticed, I have been a huge Ethnic fan recently, especially for my casual wear. Last summer I was rocking a bunch of their long anarkalis as dresses. They also have a large variety of western tops with eastern embroidery that you can wear with jeans. I do find that there sizes can run bigger than average (especially there western tops) - I wear an x-small and there tops are still too big sometimes but you can always have them altered.
Baroque: I love Baroque’s party wear collection. It is formal enough to wear to parties buy you can also dress it up and wear it to someones wedding here in Toronto. I wore this outfit from their Chantelle collection to my brother’s engagement with a lehnga and then rewore it after several times with the original pants. They offer both stitched and unstitched options for each outfit too so you can either get it tailored or purchase it ready made.
Jazmin: Jazmin is another brand that I really like for their formal outfits (although their casual stuff is really nice too) and they also have stitched and unstitched options. Their delivery time was really fast too!
Khaadi: Who doesn’t love Khaadi? I love their basic Kurtas for everyday wear and the prices are pretty reasonable too!
Maria B.: My outfit this past Eid was from Maria B and I absolutely loved it (I ordered it through Jamiyaz Clothing). This brand has a wide selection and covers you from everyday wear to beautiful saris and outfits that you can wear to weddings.
Zara ShahJahan: Design wise, Zara ShahJahan has to be one of my favorites. There simple, classy and traditional designs kill me - they are on the slightly pricier side though.
Sapphire: I actually really like their unstitched line a lot and for international orders they offer free shipping on orders over $150.
I literally went through my closet and summarized the brands that I had the most of. Other brands that I have shopped at are Agha Noor, Sana Safinaz, LimeLight, Nishat and Generation.
TORONTO BASED BOUTIQUES:
I personally haven’t used all of these stores but they were the most recommended by my audience so check them out but do your own research in terms of prices and quality.
Karigur: They carry full ranges from casual to bridal wear as well as collections from different Pakistani designers. They have three locations - Two in Markham and one in Mississauga.
Soho’s Fashion Studio: I have been here a few times and I always find Huma and her associates to be really friendly. She also does semi-formal, formal and bridal wear. She carries brands like Elan, Misha Lakhani, and Sana Safinaz etc. The boutique is also located in Mississauga.
Hira Thanvi: I have personally worked with Hira Thanvi. I wore one of her dresses to my brother’s reception and got so many compliments on it. She has her own line but she also creates custom dresses. She doesn’t have a physical boutique but you can set up an appointment with her or shop online!
Naz Fashion Bug: Located in Milton, they carry heavy party wear and semi-formals and also have a bridal studio.
Hope you find this list I put together helpful! I will continue to update this with more brands and boutiques as I come across them and if you know of any, please let me know!
Much love,
