FASHION PROFILE: IN COLLABORATION WITH BAROQUE

October 8, 2018

Hey guys!

I always get asked questions about where I buy my Desi/Pakistani clothes from. Luckily, in the last couple of years I have been able to visit Pakistan quite frequently.  I do most of my shopping then and just stock up for the remainder of the year. That being said, there are so many options for those of us that live abroad now and need outfits for events or day-to-day casual wear.

One of my favourite brands these days is Baroque - there clothes are stylish, good quality and relatively affordable. They also ship internationally! I have bought several casual outfits from them, both stitched and unstitched, and I have ordered from their pret line and have always been really happy with their products.

This beautiful suit was sent to me from Baroque. Once I selected it, it took about 5-10 days to get stitched (I am wearing a size small) and the delivery took 4 days from Pakistan to Toronto, which I thought was really impressive! This suit is Rs. 14,000 (stitched), which is CAD$147. For this specific outfit, you could choose from two different stitching styles - I really liked the longer shirt with the tulip shalwar. There are really cute beads on the neckline, sleeves and Daman and I love the button details on the back of the neck. I am a sucker for white but I love the contrasting grey dupatta!

Hope this was helpful! I will continue to share other brands as I experience them.

Much love,
